Against Burning of Qur’an

A Plea To The Blind Christians

By Prayson Daniel

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:43-45 ESV)

Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. (1 Peter 1:13-19 ESV)

“Christian” means the follower of the Christ Jesus, who happened to lied his life down for rebels and enemies of God like me that I may see the greatest love of God.

How then can we call ourselves follower of Christ yet we hate our enemies? How are we to be different, holy, set aside of the world that rebels against God? How then may we be call the sons of your Father who is in heaven? God to pleasure in creating people of all kind and nation and was pleased by it. He created a world were He foreknew there would be Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Atheism and was please by it. He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

If we Christians burn Qur’an, how different are we? Are we not worst than the terrorist themselves? How then can we called ourselves follower of the Prince of peace, Christ Jesus.

Christ Jesus calls us to hunger for righteousness, for mercy, and peaceful, He say:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:3-12 ESV)

Even in persecution we are to be glad for our God is great and everything that happen is on his hands and he allows it. As Paul, I will say, our war is not with flesh and blood but with the spirit

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV)

We are to destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, not burning Qur’ans. We are to engage ourselves sober-minded to these opinions and arguments with gentleness and respect and above all with guanine love.

I do pray that God will open the spiritual eyes of Blind Christians in America who are behind this, that they may see His Glory, love and mercy.   I am a greater sinner, rebelling against God, unworthy yet accepted and loved in Christ Jesus who is a great Savior.

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. (1 John 4:13-21 ESV)

My blind Christian brother, we love for God loves us first, if we burn Qur’an then we a liars and not worth to call ourselves Christians, for we know nothing of who we follow. Be holy as your Father in heaven is holy.
